March 5 - 11 pm

I'm all museumed and galleryed out I think. Te Papa is a lot to take on! I just did level 4 and six today but it took a few hours. Maori and New Zealand history. Old and more recent. I also went back to the city gallery to see an exhibit of kinetic art pieces that used magnets and motors to make them move. And music and lights. The artist was Len Lye. Pretty interesting.
I sat on the waterfront for a while trying to catch a glimpse of the orcas that were seen in the harbor earlier today. I was right there right after people had said they saw them. Dang. I waited and never saw anything. Pretty cool that they were there anyway though. Maybe tomorrow!
I found myself at Sweet Mother's Kitchen again for dinner. There's something I really liked about that place. I think because there are always a lot of people there, I can sit at the bar, and get food like I could get at the Bayleaf back home (RIP). I had fried chicken and curly fries. Very healthy. And that was my day!
Beach tomorrow! Today was a bit chilly.
